About Lindsay Robert

I am currently a Physical Education Teacher and Health Teacher in Howard County Public Schools. I graduated from Auburn University in 2022 with a B.S. in Physical Education with a minor in Counseling. I also completed my M.S. degree at Auburn University, graduating in 2023. As a student at Auburn University, I have the opportunity to teach and observe Physical Education classes of all varieties at several schools in the surrounding area. As a third year student, my work was used on the Alabama Department of Education website to aid in training teachers in the state on the teaching behaviors used in Physical Education. During my time as an Auburn student, I was selected as a School of Kinesiology Student Leader as well as been involved in Best Buddies, Phi Mu Fraternity, Project Uplift (a youth mentoring program unique to Auburn), and Camp Agape (a weekend camp for children involved with the foster care system). I graduated Suma Cum Laude from Auburn. I also completed a Validate-Appreciate-Refer training to better aid in communication with others in meaningful ways. My job experiences include customer service at the Links at Challedon Golf Course in Mt. Airy, Maryland, Assisstant General Manager at Sessions Cocktails, a live-in summer camp counselor and ropes course instructor at Pine Cove Crier Creek in Columbus, Texas, and a welcome desk employee and camp counselor at Merritt Clubs in Eldersburg, Maryland.
