At LARB Publishing Workshop, I help create a space for a people to learn about the publishing industry, lowering the bar of entry and increasing the diversity and vibrancy of the literary world. I also run writing workshops throughout the year and write and manage grants to support the Los Angeles Review of Books. My background is in non-profit grant writing and management and higher education teaching and management. My education is in English and French literature and the history of art. My particular interest is in books for young people, and I am an active member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators as well as fiction and poetry groups.
