I am an experienced writer, passionate about sharing impactful stories through a number of mediums. Over the course of my career as a communications and marketing associate with various government and commercial clients, I have learned what is required to launch a cause-driven campaign from concept to completion. Throughout this journey, I've developed skills crucial to this industry, such as excellent time management and organization, adept client and interpersonal relationships, and the ability to produce high-quality work in a fast-paced setting. Collaborating with fellow writers and editors has enhanced my expertise and knowledge in various subject matters. As an Internal Communications Specialist, I work collaboratively across teams, departments, and business units to provide relevant and timely information to our many global employees and stakeholders. Additionally, in this role, I help develop and amplify business achievements, employee contributions, industry successes, and cutting-edge research developments led by experts in the field through a variety of communications mediums, including but not limited to scientific articles, blog posts, email campaigns, social media platforms, videos, and more. I work closely with executives in the Research Models & Services business, providing communications consulting, strategic recommendations, and thoughtful communications for different audiences around the globe. My writing journey began around age eight when I wrote a "book" about my favorite song at the time - Puff, the Magic Dragon. My grandfather had the legal pad formatted, published, and distributed to everyone in our family within days. You can probably still find a copy on his desk. As you can imagine, I've been living off the royalties ever since (I wish!) More seriously, this encouragement from my family helped my love of writing endure to where I am today.
