With over fifteen years of experience in the healthcare sector, I have found my current role as the Director of Hospice Services at St. Bernards Healthcare to be incredibly fulfilling. I oversee the St. Bernards Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House, a 20-bed inpatient hospice facility, the only one of its kind in northeastern Arkansas. Our services extend to a 55-mile radius around Jonesboro, catering to patients who prefer to receive hospice care in the comfort of their own homes. As a Pediatric Palliative Care provider, my team collaborates with children's clinics and hospitals nationwide to ensure families can access care within our community. As a registered nurse, I am deeply committed to ensuring our community receives the highest quality of care. My previous roles as a Pediatric RN, along with my experience in Emergency Care, Intensive Care, Internal Medicine l,and Case Management, have equipped me with strong skills in patient advocacy, interdisciplinary collaboration, and clinical case management. My mission is to deliver compassionate and comprehensive care that reflects our organizational values and culture. At St. Bernards Healthcare, I am dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for both patients and families, using my expertise to create dignified end-of-life experiences while contributing to a team that strives for excellence in palliative and hospice care.I am privileged to serve on the Board of Directors for the Hospice and Palliative Care Association of Arkansas, where we are dedicated to enhancing awareness and access to high-quality hospice and palliative care. We advocate for our member providers and support their vital role within Arkansas's healthcare system.Additionally, I take great pride in being a member of the Junior Auxiliary of Jonesboro, Arkansas. Our mission is to address the needs of children, youth, and families in Craighead County, ensuring a brighter future for all. We strive to improve the lives of local children by creating and implementing programs that foster self-esteem and stimulate intellectual growth.
