About Lindy King

It’s no secret. I love a challenge. A hundred mile bicycling adventure or a multi-faceted project equally test my capabilities. On this amazing ride that is my life, I’ve been blessed with a sharp intellect, clear thinking and an uncanny ability to look forward to achieve goals. As Family Education Program Coordinator I: managed an extensive family education e-Library using SharePoint grew the library 600% to over 1200 documents for patients and families systematized the translation process for documents in several languages organized annual mandatory review of 30% of website documents negotiated discounts saving 10-25% in document translation costs Once in a while it’s best to ignore the GPS of life and be different. Volunteering for the Charles River Wheelmen allowed me to develop new and interesting concepts for the club such as: editing and creating innovative content for monthly WheelPeople newsletter initiating a weekly evening rides program pioneering three century (100 mile) rides increasing revenue and ridership Sometimes there are obstacles and undulations along the way. I always do what is needed to continue pedaling along. As administrative coordinator for the High School Robotics team I volunteered to take on new roles and contributed by: writing and assisting with grant proposals awarding for the 2014 competition season administering on-line STIMS (information management system) in 2013 & VIMS in 2014 publicizing the team with High School, local TV and newspapers planning community events I balance a hectic lifestyle in my ongoing role as a massage therapist helping athletes and everyday people to escape life's stresses and recharge. I’m energetic, resourceful and excel at getting things done. My work helping patients, students, families, volunteers and massage clients provides many rewards. Making people happy on the job then going for a bike ride once my day is done works for me!
