In my career, I have handled virtually everything needed to run a small- to mid-sized business. From learning QuickBooks and MS Access at Sterling Royce to mastering the nuts and bolts of operating a business at Hudson Landscapes, I have grown into my career. Learning something new, whether it’s a software program or system or business function, is fun to me. As a lifelong learner, I see each challenge as an opportunity to grow. People tell me that knowing what I don’t know is one of my greatest assets. Over the years, I’ve nurtured a wonderful network of professionals. Whenever I come across something that’s out of my wheelhouse, there are a number of resources I can tap. Recently transforming a disorganized office into a productive, structured environment in a short amount of time, was extremely satisfying. RECENT HIGHLIGHTS: BUSINESS TRANSFORMATION: Turing chaotic offices into structured, productive work environments by eliminating redundancies, restructuring procedures, and automating processes. PROCESS REDESIGN: Reduced invoice processing time 75% which boosted annual sales 10% by employing QuickBooks to automatically convert proposals to invoices. DATABASE DEVELOPMENT: Developed master databases to save time and partnered with IT to build a custom relational database for startup financial firm.
