Background
About Lingam James
Born in Wilmington & raised in the town of Wallace where I fell in love with the earth & all she provides. From an early age I found inspiration in the trees. I spent my high school years focused on photography, woodwork & pen. I attended the University of Mount Olive where I studied graphic design & visual communications. While there I accumulated a hefty portfolio of photography, design & large-scale pen & ink works. I later attended UNC Pembroke where I studied fine art techniques for printmaking, figure drawing & ceramics. Since graduating I have had the privilege of working with several individuals and organizations to bring their visions to life. Over the past 10 years I have worked as a Visual Arts educator focused on instilling students with the gift of creating things that they envision. In my spare time I garden, run and donate my time to a non-profit organization called Special Pedals.
