About Linh Bui

As a fourth-year Chemical & Biological Engineering student at Colorado State University, I am deeply committed to applying my academic foundation and hands-on experience to solve real-world problems in polymers, sustainability, and the healthcare sector. I have consistently demonstrated my ability to succeed in rigorous coursework in areas such as separations, reactor design, heat and mass transfer, and polymers, while actively seeking opportunities to broaden my skills. Throughout my academic career, I have gained valuable internship experience, including two roles at Prieto Battery Inc. where I contributed to R&D efforts in both cathode process engineering and anode performance analysis. I used spectrophotometry and R for data visualization to optimize battery performance and troubleshoot experimental setups. Additionally, I am leading a multidisciplinary team of 8 engineers for my senior design project, developing a device to detect spiked drinks using molecularly imprinted polymers. This role has honed my leadership and problem-solving skills, as I oversee a scalable product development with funding and a team-driven approach. In addition to technical roles, I have actively participated in leadership activities as the Engineering College Council President, where I coordinated one of the largest academic showcase events at the university. These experiences have equipped me with the teamwork, communication, and organizational skills essential for success in professional settings. As I approach graduation, I am eager to apply my education, internship experiences, and leadership development to a full-time role in a dynamic and impactful organization. I am particularly interested in positions that focus on sustainability, healthcare, and manufacturing, where I can contribute my skills while continuing to grow professionally.
