Current Work: Worked in LaserJet and InkJet technology business for 23 years. Able to consistently develop and deliver high quality software for printing and multi-function (MFP) products without impacting schedule. Worked as a full stack cloud engineer. Developed Java cloud micro-services that store and release print jobs from mobile (Android & iOS) and web applications to HP Pro and Enterprise printers. Worked with Kubernetes to monitor and manage micro-service pods. Worked with Kibana to capture logs for debugging and triage. Past work: Project lead for Android project, which includes leading a team in the design, implementation and support of an Android print library. This library renders various image types and PDF documents to print-ready PDLs and is used in HP Android applications and embedded in various Android OS versions. Worked across division and organizational boundaries to design and implement an NFC-based Android application that authenticates clients to gain access to high-end printers and release print jobs. Play a supporting role to management in mentoring new employees. Designed and implemented status and configuration software that is used today in many low-end printing and MFP devices. Proven leadership abilities by championing the software design and development various printer programs. Worked across division boundaries to define and produce XML Device Data Models and SDK that have been shipped in existing products and, in addition, will be used in next generation products. Also, worked across division boundaries to develop common tools and processes used in defect management. Involved in design and development effort of a common Windows installation application for all LaserJet printing products. Designed and developed application that updated and enabled printers to use ePrint.
