I am an accomplished and results-driven procurement and supply chain leader with over 10 years of expertise in strategic sourcing, purchasing, and supply chain management. Currently, as the Acting Senior Vice President of Procurement & Wood Supply at Billerud, I oversee a critical and complex procurement function, focusing on both raw materials and wood supply. In this role, I lead the development and execution of global procurement strategies that support Billerud’s sustainability goals while optimizing costs and ensuring a steady, reliable supply of wood for our operations. My leadership extends across strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, and the integration of wood supply chains to enhance production efficiency. Previously, as Vice President of Procurement at Billerud, I led the procurement function for critical production materials, building strong supplier relationships and implementing effective strategies for sustainable procurement. My experience also includes managing strategic sourcing in the role of Director of Strategic Sourcing at Billerud, where I honed my skills in aligning procurement strategies with business objectives, mitigating risks, and driving innovation in the supply chain. Earlier in my career, I contributed to Holmen AB’s procurement operations as a Strategic Purchaser in various categories, including packaging, bleaching chemicals, and process chemicals, where I focused on supplier negotiations and cost reduction initiatives. I also gained valuable experience as a Master Thesis student at AstraZeneca, conducting research on X-ray fluorescence, and through various roles in laboratory work and office support at companies like Holmen Paper and Sweco. With a solid educational foundation from KTH Royal Institute of Technology, where I earned my degree in Chemistry, Education, and Mathematics, I bring both technical and strategic insights to every challenge.
