About Linzi Sindelar

With over 17 years of experience in the textile industry, I am a passionate and dedicated fiber analysis expert and consultant who strives to deliver high-quality results and solutions for my clients. I have a strong background in chemistry, quality management, and quality control, and I am well-versed in the standards and regulations of the field. I founded Northwest Testing and Consulting in 2021, a company that provides fiber analysis testing and consulting services to textile testing laboratories. As the owner of Northwest Testing and Consulting, I am responsible for setting up fiber analysis testing and ensuring ISO17025 requirements are met. I perform fiber analysis using AATCC Test Methods, review results, and consult on FTC labeling laws. I also manage the inventory, consumables, and hazardous waste disposal for the company. In my previous role as the Fiber/Fabric Analysis Manager at Consumer Testing Laboratories, I oversaw quantitative and qualitative testing of fiber analysis and formaldehyde testing on textiles, wrote SOPs for the department, and ensured all requirements were met to obtain ISO/IEC17025 accreditation. I have also developed skills in process improvement, team leadership, and training.
