Early Childhood Service Corps proves workforce innovation can span generations. Creating opportunity in two systemic challenges - an aging population and an early childcare workforce shortage. This nonprofit is writing a new playbook, one that values experience, empathy, and equity. Proving that with the right support, older adults aren’t just filling gaps - they’re building connections and community. I love my work, family and community. I am inspired every day by the older adults who step out of their comfort zone and step up to join our Service Corps! I am just the organizer of the great things they are accomplishing along side the wonderful professionals in early childhood we support. My background is Montessori early childhood educational leadership, my passion is intergenerational community building, my joy comes through helping children and I am honored to do this work.
