About Lisa Berrie

With thirteen years of experience in the chemical industry, I am a passionate and driven Senior R&D Leader at Dow, where I provide technical and people leadership for the Experimental Materials Science team in Core R&D. My mission is to enable the development of novel and sustainable solutions for key technologies and market segments. I am also committed to fostering a culture of collaboration, transparency, and inclusivity within my team and across the organization, and to supporting the growth and development of my team members.In my current role, I have executed a critical hiring plan to stabilize and grow my team, established an updated technical strategy with a focus on people development, sustainability, and innovation, and managed budget tracking and forecasting for the broader organization. Previously, I led the Polyurethane Additives Innovation Program, driving alignment on PUA innovation growth strategy and priorities through cross-business collaboration. I also provided business R&D leadership for a cross-functional collaboration to implement novel technology to improve a critical silicone resins process. In addition, I have acquired skills in economic evaluation, process IP landscaping, and manufacturing process improvement through various roles and projects at Dow.
