If you had asked me, upon graduating from the University of Idaho with two degrees in geology and SEA Semester under my belt, where I thought my career would take me, it would not have occurred to me to respond with “subsea fiber optic telecommunications”. Thankfully, my brief experience as a staffing agent led me to the doors of SubCom, where I am currently a Sales Director with 20 years in subsea telecommunications. I am skilled in Cable Engineering, Technical Writing, Team Leadership, and Customer Relations. I rely on my experiences in previous roles in Desktop Studies, Route Survey, and Marine Cost Estimation, plus cross-training on cable installations, to better understand my customers’ needs.
