I have extensive experience in working with internal and external parties, i.e. updating on status of case/projects, gathering information, troubleshooting. Helped troubleshoot and implement a revolutionized system to generate inclusive agendas for patent maintenance/strategy reviews-involved defining requirements and populating the database with info needed to effectively evaluate patent portfolios. During the implementation period, organized critical review and weeding of all Lilly patent portfolios, resulting in stronger protection and significant savings to the company, including freeing up of 1 human resource for other IP support. Implemented and administered new IP patent procurement system that included providing technical structure of legacy IP management system, led data mapping, building requirements for all patent processes, working with vendor to build functionality into IP management system to support Lilly’s patent procurement processes, creating test scripts to test/validate system functionality, implementing country rules/law changes in to IP management system, facilitating quarterly meetings with US/OUS docketing and support specialists to ensure correct use of the system, providing Lilly management with custom IP management system reports, administering business continuity plan in case of system outages [planned/not planned]. Served as back up for US patent filings and intermittent back up for patent docketing. Lead Lilly marketing teams through trademark development for Lilly products and managed the naming and clearance process. This includes running legal clearance of all name/slogan/logo candidates for Lilly products, programs, campaigns, clinical trials and more by using Thomson Compumark system, CORSEARCH for global regulatory and pharma-in-use databases, clinical trial databases, internet, and outside counsel for legal opinions. Knowledge, expertise, and foresight related to the Anaqua System, Lilly IP Processes, and the Pharma business, AQX Resource across end user groups, and problem solver. Led AQX key module go-live, capability development (permissions), and enhancement designs (workspaces).
