About Lisa Carter

As a recent graduate with B.A.s in Political Science and Japanese, and a current master's in Public Administration student, I pursue opportunities that challenge my language and translation skills and allow me to think critically about the policies of and politics in our country. Upon completing my degrees, I hope to move further along in my education while working in government or academia at some capacity. My career interests include political and policy analysis, international coordination, and translation. Growing up Japanese-American, I have always valued the relationship between my two countries, and I find that the two realms through which international relations can be made and improved upon are through government and through education. To work in either area would undoubtedly create personal and professional fulfillment.
