About Lisa Corey

I believe my background and experience would provide value by adding a unique perspective. I’ve spent the last three years developing organizational, network-building and leadership skills as the re-elected President of the Spring-Ford Music Association, working with our community on behalf of our non-profit organization, I believe my background will bring a valuable perspective to your team. It has been a long-term goal of mine to pursue a career in event planning. I have had many experiences that support the skill set required to qualify me for the job. I have many skills acquired from various positions that translate well to success in this role. We work directly with school principals, music directors and leaders from other schools in our community to provide organizational, in-person, logistical, and operating support for all our music programs. This includes hosting shows, fundraising events, food prep, transportation, trip planning, prop assembly, chaperoning, and other such tasks. For more information on our organization, feel free to visit our website at I work both as a team leader with various vendors, volunteers, and directors in the music community to execute large scale events several times a year, organizing trips for large groups, hosting shows for competing marching bands, percussion and color guard units. I focus on logistics, schedules, regulations, marketing, financials, enlisting help, team building, and conflict resolution. I pay great attention to detail. These events have brought me great joy along with collaborating with others. I can pitch fresh ideas with enthusiasm which has helped me establish working relationships with connections that provide relevant offerings. I have a working knowledge of budgeting, logistics, planning, team building, communication, critical thinking, fundraising, working with restrictions (regulatory and financial), and money management in addition to my computer skills. Because of my skills, I have acquired the instinct and ability to manage and motivate a team as we work towards a common goal. I am a fast and enthusiastic learner, ready to become a leader in your company.
