About Lisa de Freitas

I've worked in several different creative fields. I was the International Contracting Manager at Jazz Music Management/Booking Agency, Ted Kurland Associates. I enrolled and completed Cosmetology certification and was first a Receptionist/Assistant then Hair Stylist at Jerel Roberts Salon in Boston, where I remained for several years until it closed. I worked at Urban Outfitters then went on to become Assistant Store Manager at vintage clothing store Poor Little Rich Girl. From there I was hired as an Associate Manager at Buffalo Exchange and 4 months later was promoted to Store Manager. I remained at BE for seven years, increasing sales form to $1.5 million. Creatively I needed a change and transitioned back into the music industry. I worked at Music Venue ONCE as the Booking/Management Assistant. I oversaw ticketing for shows, created event pages, handled social media promotions. I liaised with Promoters, Talent Agents, and Production Managers to ensure that events ran smoothly. I handled production, advanced with the bands/tour managers, was the artist liaison, organized rider requests, and hospitality, and completed settlement paperwork for the shows. I oversaw show/event planning, the internal calendar and show reports, as well as ASCAP concert reports. Authorized to work in the US for any employer
