About Lisa Devall-Martin

An enthusiastic faculty member in the Department of Education at Redeemer University, Ancaster, Ontario, Canada, which stems from my expertise as an elementary school teacher, school administrator, and my passion to bridge theory and praxis. As a university educator, I am committed to ensuring my teaching is innovative and fuelled by my passion for transformative learning; renewing minds, transforming lives. In addition, I am a strong advocate for sustainable soul-care as a pathway to Christian educator's holistic well-being, which is sustained by my engagement with Emmaus Formation Centre's Spiritual Direction certification. With outstanding written and oral communication with comprehensive skills in educational systems-thinking and educator professional development, I believe that confident mentor-coaching establishes tenable and healthy organizations. Globally, I am an active board member of Education-4-Change; NGO generating basic literacy to the Kelafo district of Ethiopia - Somali Region through a mobile-resource-teacher model supported by the Ministry of Education. Locally,I am an appointed board member of Ray of Hope - providing life changing services to those in need across the Kitchener-Waterloo Region.
