About Lisa Devore

I started my career as a Computer, Switching, and Cryptographic Systems Journeyman in the United States Air Force. During my 7 years on active duty, I served 2 tours during Operation Desert Storm as a telephone switching systems hardware technician. I served a third tour as the force protection manager of over 50 US troops, assigned to protect and secure the inner perimeter of the base. I also spent 6 years in the US Air Force Reserves. My military service contributed to my proficiency in human resource planning, scheduling, classroom, and OJT training, training plan development, security implementation, and leadership. As a government contractor, I have built, integrated, operated, and maintained numerous multi-million dollar systems ranging from cryptographic networks to large Technical Control Facilities to deployable processing systems. My responsibilities expand across the project lifecycle and include design, requirements verification, engineering drawings, bill of materials, final implementation, and turnover. I have developed training and sustainment documentation for successful customer support and turnover of all aspects of the integration effort (Program Support Agreements, Installation & Checkout Plans, Training Plans, Customer Turnover Acceptance Checklists, Operations and Maintenance Manuals, Troubleshooting Manuals, etc.) I was also a Control Account Manager for 14 projects with a combined labor, materials, and subcontractor value of over $50 Million, spanning 3 separate organizational programs. I have over 25 years of engineering experience and consistently seek opportunities that allow me to grow and develop my personal and professional skills. I am also a strong advocate of building a team of leaders. I actively pursue opportunities to contribute to the growth and development of my team through exercises such as: Group reflection - to reflect on recent failures and strategize ways to improve outcomes next time around, Team collaboration - to brainstorm ideas and contribute to team success through the utilization of our specific strengths, and Team building events - where we let down our guard and have fun together. Since 2009, my husband and I have owned and operated a successful real estate business. In Feb 2023, I started a second business as an engineering consultant, and I am so excited to watch it flourish. Last but certainly not least, I thank my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I would not be here today if it had not been for His grace, mercy, and love.
