I have worked in Compliance since it began in 1986. This means that I have a wealth of experience in terms of how rules and principles have evolved over that time and the purpose(s) behind them. This experience helps significantly when interpreting rules and assessing how they apply to the businesses that I work with. Outside of work I am a passionate advocate for conservation and education. I am a trustee of Rhino Rescue UK, a registered charity that not only supports the rehab of orphaned rhino due to poaching, but also the engagement and education of communities with their precious wildlife to learn to love and protect it for future generations which will also generate livelihoods for them. I volunteer for the Scottish Greyhound Sanctuary, mainly in the car pool to help with the transport of these beautiful souls to their forever or foster sofa and I help to re-home ex racehorses for responsible and caring owners/trainers when a horse's racing career is ended, and I may collect the odd one myself along the way!
