About Lisa Jay

Lisa Jay has worked in theatre, television, and the world of live entertainment. She danced in Shania Twain's recent music video,"Giddy Up." Lisa has choreographed for and performed in numerous industrials: Ford Motors, Compaq Computers (Sting’s World Tour Kick-off), Shell Oil, Dr. Pepper, Chevis Regal (with the late Emmy, Grammy, Oscar & Tony award-wining Marvin Hamlisch), AT & T, Mobil Oil, IBM, Oldsmobile, American Express, etc. Television credits include ABC’s Lost, MTV’s DanceLife, NBC’s Jake and the Fatman, ABC’s Life Goes On, and NBC’s The Little People. TV commercial credits include Walgreens, RC Cola, Gloria Vanderbilt Shoes, Macy’s, 7-11 Stores, and Disney Travel. Theatrical Choreography Credits include A Chorus Line, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, Aladdin, The Only Dance There Is, A Midsummer Nights’ Dream, and Grease. Lisa has danced with New York Motion, the Ken Molina Dance Company, and in Abe Weinstein’s Cotton Club Revue. She was a featured soloist in Al Harrington’s Polynesian Revue, has danced with famed Hawaiian musical duo The Brothers Cazimero, and even taught Hula to the late Tony award-wining choreographer, Thommie Walsh. Lisa was a member of an award winning halau, under the direction of the late Leina`ala Kalama Heine. She was a guest choreographer for Betty Jones & Fritz Ludin’s Dances We Dance and choreographed for the Goodwill Games in Nottingham, England. Lisa holds a Master’s Degree in Dance and teaches at Glendale College, Rio Hondo College, Hussain College in Studio LA, and Millennium Dance Complex. Lisa is signed with The Movement Talent Agency.
