About Lisa Jones

My path in nuclear began with the Environment Agency, first as a Nuclear Technical Officer and later as Nuclear Regulator, during which time I was Lead Regulator for several non-nuclear facilities and part of a team of Regulators on larger nuclear sites. I have gained hands-on experience at nuclear decommissioning sites, where I learned the critical importance of regulatory compliance from the ground up. This foundation proved invaluable as I moved into high-profile new nuclear build projects, where I've been able to apply my expertise in environmental legislation to shape robust compliance frameworks. Today, I thrive on working with clients to deliver the solutions they need on projects that demand meticulous attention to detail and strategic thinking. Whether I'm leading audits, implementing compliance programs or offering solutions, I bring the same commitment to excellence that has consistently earned recognition from both peers and senior leadership. Some of my key achievements include, leading assurance activities at Horizon Nuclear Power in support of key company submissions and leading the brilliant and dedicated team here at CEA.
