Being an educator is a calling.My journey in education has been fueled by a commitment to equity, a love of serving my community and a knack for making data actionable, ensuring every student not only excels but also feels a strong sense of belonging. In my career, I've worn many hats—from advisor and confidant, classroom teacher to curriculum designer, from activities director to data analyst. I've led multidisciplinary teams to implement data-driven strategies that boost student success rates and bridge achievement gaps. As a passionate educator and data enthusiast, I love turning complex numbers into stories that drive student success and create thriving educational environments. I believe my success is made possible by building strong relationships with students and truly listening to them. My classroom experience gives me a unique perspective on what works for students, especially teens. I "get" them—their challenges, their strengths, and how to connect with them authentically on a meaningful level. I'm a life-long learner and love growing my arsenal of skills. I have recently completed the Google / Coursera Professional Certificate in Data Analytics. I'm well-versed in SQL, Tableau, and R, which means I can handle large datasets with ease and precision. But it's not just about the numbers—it's about translating those numbers into insights that we can use to make real, positive changes for our students.
