Most recently I have successfully completed a Digital Marketing Science course with certifications such as Google Ads Search, Google Analytics, HubSpot Email Marketing. This course has given me new skills that I can build upon for continued career growth. I am a Nationally Certified Medical Assistant and have maintained my certification since 1997. My profession has been in the oncology, cardiology, and anesthesiology specialties. What started out as a 4-day temp assignment in late 1996, turned into a 25-year career. Being a medical professional is a privilege and I view it as something I get to do. Providing patient care in a patient-first environment creates a standard for improving medical outcomes and quality of life.My career has afforded me experience in transitioning from paper charts to digital charts into electronic medical records (EMR). This was accomplished through scanning of paper medical record documents into EMR, meticulous data analysis to input medical history with accuracy, and maintaining the integrity of patients' medical chart. My professional tenure includes various comprehensive EMR systems that have evolved significantly in the past decade. Part of my skills gained involved building and establishing a single-physician practice EMR system from inception to a functional program.
