Lisa M Lamberson is owner of Mountain Sports Flagstaff and Co-owner of Bright Side Bookshop. She delights in using these two local establishments as platforms for unlikely collaboration with Flagstaff community members, business and organizations. Mountain Sports Flagstaff is Lisa’s family business that has been a fixture of the Flagstaff community since 1980. And in 2017 in a moment of temporary insanity, Bright Side Bookshop was born with tenacity and moxy with a dear friend Annette Avery. Lisa & Annette have taken it upon themselves to uphold the mantle of a "community hub" for every resident and traveler looking for a place to find quality products, books, events, and regional information. An ongoing source of pride for Lisa is Mountain Sports Flagstaff’s ongoing commitment to 1% for the Planet, and the opportunity to grant over to local environmental and conservation organizations. When not busy running these two thriving independent businesses, Lisa can be found camping/adventuring outside with her husband and son, traveling near and far, seeing small victories in high altitude gardening and keeping up on an ever growing list of books to be read.
