About Lisa Levitt

I began my career working in finance, and after years of working in NYC, made the decision to stay home full time to support our growing family. It was during this time that I discovered a love and talent for all things DIY! When I was invited to a Board & Brush workshop with some friends, I just knew that I had to be a part of the magic! I worked as an assistant and studio manager for nearly three years before becoming the studio owner. I never in a million years dreamed I’d be a small business owner and I am so grateful for the opportunity to keep this beloved studio open for the community! Having grown up just around the corner in West Orange, I have a lifetime of memories in the Livingston area. My husband, John, and I have been together over twenty years and have two incredible boys, Benjamin and Matthew. I look forward to making Board & Brush a family business, including our boys in whatever they’ll have the attention span for! When I'm not at the studio, I enjoy listening to music, a good podcast, puzzles, reading, building Lego with Ben, playing Super Mario with Matthew, and inventing endless home projects for myself!
