About Lisa Lewin

I am an experienced risk manager, having focused on economic and political risk for over 15 years. I find the continual evolution of economies and societies fascinating. In my current role at Pension Insurance Corporation, I am part of the enterprise risk management team. The role encompasses the identification and assessment of forward-looking risks to the business. Prior to my current role, I was a country risk analyst at Mizuho bank. I was part of a team that focused on emerging markets with a view to guiding the bank’s exposure and risk appetite across Europe, Middle East and Africa. I was previously a global economist at Fitch Solutions, where I led the views on emerging markets for three years. In this position, I built a strong track record of delivering insightful and prescient views across multiple formats (published articles, presentations and webinars). I also developed a highly successful suite of emerging markets content. I have also led a team of analysts focused on Sub-Saharan Africa for five years. This role involved extensive work with clients and a multitude of presentations across the region. My academic background is in Economics (Cambridge University) and Finance (CFA charter).
