About Lisa Luongo Smith

Lisa brings over 19 years of experience in Human Resources as an advisor and consultant and has worked in a range of industries from finance to mining, logistics, government and hospitality. Her strengths include facilitation and training, change management, culture building initiatives and programs, curriculum design and delivery, talent and leadership development, and coaching. Lisa has a Business Degree from Simon Fraser University and a Graduate Certificate in Strategic Human Resources Management from Royal Roads University. She is also an Associate Certified Coach through the International Coaching Federation and a Prosci Certified Change Practitioner. In 2019, Lisa was selected by Beedie School of Business as one of thirty sponsored participants in all of Canada for the 2019/2020 WXN Top 100 Mentorship Program, an opportunity that aligned well with Lisa’s interest in growing as a woman in business and supporting women to reach their potential. Over the years, Lisa has had some tremendous opportunities to utilize her skills in other humanitarian capacities; she previously offered training and career skills facilitation during Kwantlen Polytechnic University’s Career Choices and Life Success program, received a Paul Harris Fellow for significant work done to support a community-focused Rotary initiative, and is a past recipient of a United Way Spirit Award and BC Human Rights Award.
