About Lisa Markowitz

I am a collaborative Wealth Advisor with expertise in building client confidence. Working primarily with Latin American clients in the Ultra-High-Net-Worth (UHNW) segment, I strongly believe that the best long-term client-advisor relationships are those which are holistic in nature – bringing the entire suite of capabilities of the institution directly to the client. In partnering and collaborating with colleagues representing the diverse sectors of the firm, the client is provided with the optimal experience – a trusted advisor, and specialists who can provide expert analysis and support specific to their needs. As part of an advisory team I collaborated with our group regularly and kept abreast of changes in the local markets, participating actively in FX transactions involving USD/MXN or other currency matches. I researched structured investments for yield enhancement or portfolio protection, leveraging the expertise of the Wealth Planning division and promoting active involvement with the credit department. Recently, I obtained significant project management experience working with UBS’s bespoke asset aggregator tool, Asset Wizard. This tool is designed to provide UHNW individuals and their advisors with their total wealth picture including multi-bank financial assets, as well as non-financial assets including real estate, private equity, and collections. I have a Master of International Affairs (MIA) in Banking and Finance with a regional specialization in Latin America. I am fluent in Spanish, with proficiency in Portuguese and German. In addition I hold FINRA® Series 7 & 66 Licenses.
