About Lisa Medema

You know that feeling when everything just clicks in the lab: the precision, the purpose, the teamwork? That’s when I’m at my best. I'm a recent graduate from the MSc Medical Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Groningen with a background in biology, chemistry and pharmaceutical research. Through my academic journey, and especially my research internships, I discovered how much I enjoy working in a structured lab environment. I like supporting impactful research with care and attention to detail. During my internships, I contributed to projects in both academia and industry. From enzyme immobilisation and UV-Vis assays to MPLC and GC analysis, I gained experience with a variety of techniques while learning how to work both independently and collaboratively. I enjoy learning by doing. I thrive in supportive roles that allow me to contribute while staying closely connected to the team and the goal.
