About Lisa Mercier

Grew up travelling the world(England, Africa, Middle East) via my Dad's career as a Communication Operator with the US Govt; born in Texas(consider it my home state), followed my first husband to California(VAFB), lived there 8 years & I started a career in Top Secret Security and then Law Enforcement. I graduated the CA Peace Officer Standard Training (POST) academy but was hired into Federal Law Enforcement. I graduated the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) in Land Management. I worked as a Game Warden/Conservation Officer. After going through a divorce and meeting my 2nd Husband(retired Air Force), we moved to Florida end of 2008(so he could be close to family). I started at UPS in 2009 and have never looked back. As the LE career has changed over the years, I became very comfortable and happy at UPS(weekends off, holidays off, low on job risks, better pay than local LE). I have successfully filled every position in the center with exception of Dispatch(although I have worked desk jobs they don't interest me) and I continue to be the expert in every position, including Hazmats, On Road(Drivers), Customer Service(OMS/CC) and Safety. It's unique in a Union Environment. I am a very honest person, have had to hold my own and I will always have my integrity. I find happiness amongst the craziness ‍. Happy to be celebrating 14 years with UPS!
