About Lisa Murphy

With over 25 years of experience in human resources, I am a seasoned and passionate HR leader who strives to create a culture of caring, diversity, equity, and inclusion in every organization I work with. Currently, I serve as the Assistant HR Director at Central Lakes College, where I oversee employee and labor relations, staffing, compensation, classification, training and development, benefits, and HRIS for the administration, faculty, and staff. In my previous roles, I have successfully managed HR functions for various business and non-profit entities, including Honor the Earth, Indian Health Board of Mpls. and Mille Lacs Corporate Ventures. I have also developed and implemented compensation and performance management strategies for Mille Lacs Corporate Ventures, a multi-industry enterprise. I have extensive experience in working with unionized and diverse workforces, as well as facilitating and coordinating various activities and committees to support the organizational mission and vision. Some of my key skills include employee benefits, employee relations, HRIS, and labor relations. I enjoy collaborating with team members to enhance work processes and achieve business objectives promptly.
