About Lisa Murray

Lisa Murray manages coordinated networks in communities for the IVMF's AmericaServes program. In this role, Murray works with four networks in North Carolina, one in South Carolina and several in Texas. Much of her role is based on relationship management and developing a collective impact model that fosters greater coordination, so that veterans and their families seeking services get to the right provider, the first time, in the least amount of time. By utilizing change management strategies and introducing a technology platform designed to facilitate greater collaboration, Murray is able to assist federal, state, and community-based organizations that serve veterans and their families improve their service delivery outcomes and the lives of those aim to serve. Murray empowers and supports the operations and performance of each AmericaServes coordinated network by working with those that are dedicated to improving the lives of veterans, service members and their families. The part of Murray's work that weaves all of the AmericaServes networks together is the cultivation, nurturing and connectivity of the AmericaServes Communities of Practice (CoP)- Practice360. Building Communities of Practice support learning and seamlessly service delivery for clients from big cities to rural military-base communities. Practice360 connects human service providers on three different layers of AmericaServes: nationally, regionally and locally. This combined with the best practices and methodology of private businesses, research universities, and impactful military and veteran serving organizations fosters their individual and collective missions and optimizes performance of human service providers that care for veterans, service members and their families.
