About Lisa Pendergast

With over three decades of leadership in the Commercial Real Estate finance research sector, I currently serve as the President & CEO of the Commercial Real Estate Finance Council (CREFC). As a Trade Association, CREFC is dedicated to the ~$6+ trillion commercial real estate finance industry. Our goals consistently remain focused on strategic CRE finance growth and innovation in investments, asset management, and portfolio solutions. My previous experience of over 30 years in the commercial real estate capital markets as a CRE and CMBS Research Analyst (writing weekly reports and presenting my analyses to institutional CMBS investors across the country) while at Prudential Securities, the Royal Bank of Scotland, and Jefferies, has proven extremely helpful in the growth and expansion of CREFC. Our goals at CREFC are to foster collaboration among all market participants, empowering CREFC's staff and members to move markets forward in a positive and accretive way to the industry, and aligning organizational goals with the evolving needs of the industry. We are passionate about creating sustainable financial solutions and delivering value through thoughtful leadership.
