A clear thinking, senior early clinical development leader with over 20 years of experience in clinical and project leadership roles in the pharma industry. A highly motivated leader with a track record of delivering successful early clinical projects through a collaborative and dynamic approach. Expertise in early clinical programmes including First in Human, PK/PD, biomarker and proof of concept studies with particular strength in respiratory and inhaled drug development. Experience working with discovery teams through to candidate selection. Leadership of complex global matrix teams in addition to working in an outsource model requiring management of external partners such as CROs and consultants. I have worked in the UK and Asia, on global projects in large organisations such as GSK and Merck as well as the smaller virtual biotech environment of Respivert (Janssen R&D) and development team leadership at the Lung Cancer Initiative and Johnson and Johnson. Currently in an exciting new role as VP of Clinical Development at Sitryx Therapeutics focused on immunometabolism.
