I’m a connector, a builder, and a doer. For over 15 years, I’ve worked at the intersection of marketing, operations, and community. Helping organizations grow with heart, strategy, and a commitment to people. Whether leading regional campaigns across 34 tourism properties, mentoring seasonal teams, or organizing resource drives for single mothers, I focus on turning ideas into impact. At Lifemark’s Empower Program, I lead outreach and employer engagement for a government-funded initiative supporting equity-deserving women in Edmonton. I coordinate job fairs, secure community sponsorships, mentor staff, and help clients navigate employment barriers with practical, compassionate support. My work combines service, storytelling, and strategic relationship-building and it’s made a measurable difference, including a 104% increase in program registrations. Before this, I served as a Marketing Specialist and Assistant General Manager with Hostelling International, shaping national branding, destination marketing, and member engagement across 34 properties. I led operations and daily audit reconciliation at HI Banff, launched high-impact initiatives like the Job Seekers Package, and managed seasonal recruitment and training while supporting live-in teams of over 30 staff and volunteers. I lead through empowerment and clarity. Known to some as “The Special Forces,” to others as “The Swiss Army Knife,” and often, simply, as “Mama Bear.” I care deeply about building inclusive systems, guiding teams through change, and creating work that reflects integrity, equity, and purpose.
