About Lisa Razler

I'm Lisa Razler (aka Lisa Whitaker Patterson), a former journalist who has worked in Communications and Marketing for more than 30 years. During my career, I have enjoyed a wealth of experiences from covering news, sports and features for newspapers to working as a publicist for Walt Disney World and helping open The Florida Aquarium. For the past 25 years I have focused on health care MarCom while working for BayCare Health System, where I oversee public relations initiatives across the system. In addition to my work, I am passionate about giving back to the community. I'm involved with the Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce, recently serving as Marketing Chairperson for Leadership Tampa Alumni. I also have served on the boards of the Junior League of Tampa and the PTAs of two local schools; volunteered with the Girl Scouts and my church; and helped start a free program to teach volleyball to young girls. I am past president of the Florida Society for Healthcare Public Relations and Marketing and earned the Florida Hospital Association's Jack Bondurant Award for outstanding achievement in my field.
