Providence is one of the largest non-profit health care organizations in the US. The Providence Virtual Care & Digital Health team connects patients with providers across 9 states in the western US. We provide physician coding & billing education, auditing, revenue collection, as well as state & federal legislative research. We ensure our virtual providers are licensed, privileged and payor enrolled. My team supports the implementation of new virtual services, provides analysis and reporting of revenue cycle data. I am an experienced manager and certified medical coder. I am a telehealth billing & coding subject matter expert. I also have experience in ambulatory and acute E&M services, OBGYN, Family Medicine, Urgent Care, GI, GU, Nephrology, Neurology, Pediatrics, General Surgery, Hospitalist services, Psych, ASC as well as many other specialties. I hold two coding certifications through the American Association of Professional Coders (AAPC) and served as the local AAPC chapter president. I am an AHIMA certified ICD-10-CM trainer and have successfully trained several ICD-10-CM coding courses.
