About Lisa Roper

As a passionate advocate for conservation and ethically sustainable hunting and angling, my greatest joy comes from introducing individuals, particularly women and youth, to amazing opportunities and adventures. I am confident that with these introductions and support, plus the development of confidence and education, it will build the foundation of a lifetime of hunting, angling, and learning about the outdoors. Breaking through the barriers and stereotypes to inspire women and youth to take up hunting and angling drives my continued enthusiasm while I too continue to hone my craft learning, practicing and sharing my journey as both hunter and angler and with others. I am ever respectful of my connection to the environment and the fish and wildlife that live here, the rules that grant me access to nature’s bounty and the development of my skills and abilities so I can participate fully with the highest ethical standards. My intention is to provide value to the hunting and angling community throughout Canada by inspiring those around me to have fun, while growing as conscientious hunters and anglers.
