About Lisa Ruffner
I have spent over 20 years in the early childhood sector working to improve the quality of early child hood facilities for children. I began my career working under a state grant to research the quality of child care in two rural counties in PA. This opportunity led me to meet and learn from many child care providers in my rural counties. I worked with them to improve the health and safety of their facilities. I then moved to working for Pennsylvania's Quality Improvement Rating System, Keystone STARS in 2005. I now am working as the NE Partner Liason for the ECEPDO@PASSHE. In this position I work with child care professionals to achieve their educational goals.
