About Lisa Salinger

I am an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual with considerable knowledge within Logistics, manufacturing and the supply chain environment. My experience includes successfully working in all aspects of a large distribution center, which encompasses being part of implementing automated distribution systems (SAP), and knowledge of the six sigma system I have managed a warehouse with production of about 25 to 40 people at a time, making sure that orders were completed correctly and on time for shipment. This included managing the work flow racks of the production area. I also have a vast amount of experience in offshore/domestic shipments/routing/planning live load appointments for JIT deliveries, drop load, ordering/purchasing, preparing material transfers, load sheets, negotiating carrier rates, and customs and trade services. In addition, I have experience working with drayage carriers/brokers and brokers for customs, clearance to get containers from the port to the customer or to the warehouse for sorting, with in the allowed free time. I can coordinate and successfully complete multiple tasks in a timely manner. I have excellent communication skills both verbal and written. I work well in a team and I am also self-sufficient and a self-starter.
