About Lisa Schutt
I've been interested in the relationship between employer and employee since my second year of university after taking a "What Do Unions Do?" course. After graduating with a Bachelor's degree in Labour Relations I pursued a Master's degree while working full time for Public Health Sudbury & districts; working my way up from volunteer to Human Resources Officer. Canadian Mental Health Association Sudbury/Manitoulin was my home for three years where I worked in tandem with the leadership team engaging in continuous human resources development. Most recently, I have assumed the role of HR/Safety Coordinator with B&D Manufacturing Ltd. I am continuing to pursue my Canadian Human Resources Professional designation (CHRP) and will be writing the General Knowledge Exam in the fall of 2024. On a personal note, I am born and raised in Sudbury, and despite having travelled extensively there is no place like home. I enjoy spending time at my camp with my two dogs, laughing with friends, and opportunities to be creative.
