About Lisa Sennott

I have well over 10 years of experience practicing law, the majority of which as an employment law attorney. At Clarus, I primarily conduct impartial investigations into a wide range of workplace issues for public, private and non-profit sector employers. Our clients rely on my expertise to address complex complaints including those involving high level executives and artificial intelligence/AI, or deepfake detection matters within the workplace. My experience working with survivors of domestic violence has attuned my legal skills using trauma-informed investigation techniques, a unique asset for clients dealing with matters of sexual assault, discrimination, and retaliation. I also provide advice and counsel to many of the firm’s larger corporate clients and advise on compliance with federal, state and local employment laws, including California’s Family Rights Act, Family and Medical Leave Act, Fair Employment and Housing Act, Fair Labor Standards Act, National Labor Relations Act and Americans with Disabilities Act. I counsel clients in other areas of employment law such as leaves of absence, state and local wage and hour compliance, sick leave laws and related requirements, as well as current legal developments impacting national, state and local labor and employment policies and best practices. I currently live in Napa, CA with my husband and two teenagers. I am an avid tennis player and enjoy gardening, cooking, traveling and hanging out with my dogs
