Welcome to my profile. I am a senior communications and public relations leader with 20+ years of transforming organizational communications processes and image. I am passionate about what I do because I am at the hub of the action, ensuring that an organization's image is the best it can be. I manage crisis communications and serve as a trusted advisor as a member of the executive team, providing communications advice and counsel. I also have a talent for establishing strategic alliances and partnerships to achieve organizational objectives. I know I am only as good as the teams I work on and work with and lead, so I take time to listen, learn, train, coach, and mentor each team member for career growth and optimal productivity. As a result, I am able to work on and work with high-performing teams which creates an environment of cohesion and camaraderie. A small sample of my accomplishments includes: 1) I created a very strong relationship with local reporters, and those relationships yielded significant increases in coverage 2) Managed several major projects, including a major organizational celebration, using internal and external communications.
