About Lisa Thompson

I’m a UX and product designer with a background in architecture, specialising in context-aware design for complex systems. My strength lies in understanding how people actually live, work, and interact with tools, and designing experiences that fit seamlessly into those real-world environments. Before moving into digital design, I spent six years designing physical spaces, where constraints, flow, and human needs were always part of the brief. I now bring that same thinking to digital products: balancing structure and empathy to create interfaces that are not just beautiful, but usable, purposeful, and inclusive. I believe great design doesn’t start with a blank canvas, it starts with listening, observing, and improving what exists. Whether I’m reimagining a legacy platform or developing a new service, I focus on creating clarity from complexity and advocating for users who are often overlooked.
