As an experienced, goal-oriented nurse executive and dynamic change leader, I leverage my extensive clinical care expertise to initiate transformative improvements in hospital operations and patient care. During my career, I have excelled at building cohesive teams that share a strategic vision, which I achieved by recruiting top-tier talent for leadership roles and nurturing a culture of collaborative problem-solving. I shape both present and future-focused organizational visions by identifying operational needs and crafting strategic business plans that not only boost revenue but also enhance community access to healthcare services. My extensive nursing knowledge enables me to implement changes that yield significant enhancements in compliance, safety, and efficiency across both inpatient and outpatient services, driving outstanding healthcare outcomes. Below is a selection of the top accomplishments from my career with VHC Health: • Collaborating to open a new outpatient pavilion at VHC Health, leading strategic planning for the logistics of daily unit functions and key service line decision-making. I grew physician partnerships to support increased patient volume and implemented a vision for launching additional centers to increase community access to care. • Leveraging my strong critical care nursing background to convert half of the VHC Health telemetry floor into a 21-bed IMCU after identifying an urgent need for an intermediate unit between ICU and telemetry, creating a fully equipped space to care for patients with acute and chronic pulmonary and cardiac diseases. • Cultivating an environment of continuous quality improvement and developing policies and procedures to drive patient safety, increase compliance with core measures, reduce HAIs, and improve HCAHPS scores every single quarter.
