My journey has been deeply intertwined with York University, where I’ve cultivated deep expertise in HR practices and strategic leadership. Currently serving as the Director of People Planning, I lead the advancement of the University People Strategy and foster a culture of equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI), employee engagement, service excellence, innovation and continuous improvement. I lead York's talent sourcing, pension, benefits, compensation and rewards strategies, HR Systems as well as HR data governance and people insights planning and deployment and continued enhancements. In my previous role, I drove talent attraction, engagement and acquisition strategies that fueled organizational growth and success. I crafted innovative solutions for talent attraction and engagement, leveraging advanced analytics and reporting to optimize outcomes. Proficient in ATS systems management, I streamlined processes to ensure seamless experiences. Throughout my career, I've championed best practices and led program development initiatives. I thrive on tackling organization-wide projects aimed at continuous improvement, leveraging my expertise to enhance HR frameworks in alignment with EDI principles.
