About Lisa Trainor

Lisa Trainor is a partner in GTC’s M&A and business and transactions group. Lisa regularly represents clients in M&A transactions in a variety of fields, including software, hardware, information technology and manufacturing. She often serves as managing counsel on complex cross-border M&A transactions, and in this role leads large global legal teams with business-focused and cost-conscious efficiency. Lisa also serves in the role of ‘outside general counsel’ to many of her clients, managing their day-to-day global legal needs and handling a broad range of business-related matters, including strategic advice on corporate planning, technology protection, private equity financings, commercial and private debt transactions, copyright and trademark matters, joint ventures, employment agreements and executive compensation and commercial contracts. Prior to GTC, Lisa was a partner in Keegan, Werlin & Pabian LLP. Previously, she was a member of the Corporate and M&A practice groups at Skadden, Arps. Lisa holds a B.A. in Political Science from George Washington University and a J.D. from the University of Connecticut's School of Law.
