About Lisa Walker

A capable Neuropsychologist with proven expertise in neuropsychological assessment for acute care, rehabilitation planning, and medical-legal purposes; as well as a background in treatment and rehabilitation with a neurological population. Substantial experience in the following diversified settings: acute care hospital, mental health clinic, psychiatric hospital, rehabilitation hospital, and private practice. Comprehensive experience with adolescents, adults, and elderly individuals from medical, psychiatric, rehabilitation, and community populations. Currently lead a grant-funded clinically-based research program in multiple sclerosis. Academic appointments held in Psychology and Medicine at the University of Ottawa as well as Psychology and the Institute of Cognitive Science at Carleton University. Significant experience as a clinical and research supervisor. Major strengths in interpersonal skills, teaching, and initiative.
